Position Overview

Directs and coordinates inventory activities between plants by performing the following duties personally or through supervisors.

Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM 

Responsibilities

• Develop methods and procedures for transportation of materials to production areas, departments, warehouses, or other storage facilities.
• Determine the most efficient and economical routing.
• Direct scheduling of shipments and notifies concerned departments or customers of arrival dates.
• Initiates changes designed to improve control and efficiency of transactions between plants.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements.
• Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), four plus years of relevant industry experience or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager’s approval to hire full-time.
• 1 year of related experience or training

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
• Two plus years of experience working in a fulfillment department.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and Internet applications
• Ability to write simple professional correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Demonstrated analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, management, and colleagues across the organization, and internal and external clients.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Frequent sitting for prolonged periods.
• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Occasional standing for prolonged periods of time
• Frequent walking
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work

 

Pay Range

USD $16.00 - USD $22.00 /Yr.

Pay Statement

The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
