Assist Die Cutting Operators and Department with set-up and running die cutting, stripping and blanking equipment fixtures. Maintain good quality, productivity, and work attitude.

SHIFT:  Monday – Friday, 1:45 – 10:15pm

• Assist the Die Cutting Operators as required in their operations to optimize machine efficiency.
• Ensure the proper jobs are readily available and are ready to run.
• Re-pile loads as needed.
• Assist in feeding the Die Cutter and removing completed loads.
• Assist in cleaning the Die Cutter and any related equipment.
• Perform job tasks per established procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area by regularly cleaning the area and emptying waste bins.
• Aid the operators in maintaining die cutting, stripping, and blanking equipment fixtures.
• Aid the operator in ensuring that an adequate quantity of production supplies is maintained.
• Work overtime when needed.
• Other duties as assigned. 

• High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Aspiration to become a Die Cutting Operator.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
• Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.
• Demonstrates a positive safety attitude.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
• Frequent walking and standing.

The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
